Citroen has launched an increased traction version of its Berlingo for light off-road work. Badged XTR+, the front-wheel-drive vehicle incorporates a limited-slip differential on the front wheels.
This transfers up to 75% of the engine’s torque between the front wheels when one of them loses grip.
Also included is heavy duty suspension (raised by 30mm), revised steering geometry, under-body protection and Michelin Synochrone on/off-road tyres.
Available in short and long panel van forms, as well as platform and crew cab versions, the XTR+ is on the market now with prices starting at £14,610.
