At the recent 2017 Chengdu Auto Show in China, Nissan showed the full lineup of models from its joint ventures including Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company (DFN), Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd. (ZNA), Dongfeng Venucia Motor Company (DFV) and Nissan’s premium automotive brand, Infiniti.

More than 3,500 Nissan vehicles were sold during the 10-day auto show, thanks to the contributions of SUV models from Nissan’s joint ventures in China.

Dongfeng Nissan brought numerous models – including Murano, X-Trail, Qashqai and the recently launched Kicks – to the show. Dongfeng Nissan’s SUV lineup has covered all SUV categories ranging from small to large and from entry level to luxury. What’s more, Dongfeng Nissan has also released a plan to further improve its layout in western China for the next five years through enhanced focus on brand, product, channel and service.

Zhengzhou Nissan introduced Nissan Navara, the high-end pickup model at the show. As China’s first high-end multi-purpose pickup, Navara addresses multiple customer needs with this pioneering concept. Navara has gained wide recognition and has been well received by Chinese customers. In the two months since its June launch, Navara has received more than 10,000 pieces of procurement intentions.

Celebrating its seventh anniversary this year, Dongfeng Venucia showed its full line up, which through the years has grown to cover multiple segments – SUVs, MPVs, sedans, hatchbacks and new energy vehicles. Among the Venucia show highlights were the Venucia T90 and T70 SUVs.

Premium automotive brand Infiniti showcased its full series of models at the show and announced the start of the “2017 Infiniti SUV Challenge Way.” Hundreds of elite Infiniti users will drive SUV models to challenge multiple complex terrains across China. The total driving range is expected to reach more than 100,000 kilometers. Additionally, the recently launched 2017 Q50 hybrid was on display. The sedan expands the definition of luxury and high performance, while delivering great fuel performance.
