Introducing The Distinctive 2018 Gmc Yukon Denali

PROFESSIONAL GRADE IS A COMMITMENT TO CONTINUALLY MAKE OUR BEST EVEN BETTER. THAT’S WHY WE’VE WORKED TO MAKE THE NEW 2018 YUKON DENALI FULL-SIZE LUXURY SUV EVEN MORE DISTINCTIVE AND REFINED THAN EVER BEFORE.

Professional Grade is more than just a commitment to designing and building the trucks and SUVs with attention to design and detail that’s second-to-none. At GMC, Professional Grade also means we continually strive to make our best even better. That’s why we’ve worked to make the new 2018 Yukon Denali full-size luxury SUV even more distinctive and refined than ever before.

DENALI DETAILING
Yukon Denali’s bold exterior styling holds true to Denali tradition. Attention to precision and detail is second to none, and helps Yukon’s powerful-yet-elegant shape further stand apart in the full-size luxury segment.

This detailing can be seen everywhere, from the accents on the standard 20-inch wheels, or even the standard HID projector-beam headlamps with signature LED accent lighting – but it’s especially evident in Yukon Denali’s newly redesigned grille.

Much like the grille used on the new 2018 Terrain Denali, Yukon Denali’s new grille is a work of art in and of itself, and yet another reflection of GMC’s commitment to precision. The horizontal pattern is highlighted with three-dimensional block elements, which were carefully crafted to catch light just the right way, much like a high-end timepiece or sculptural jewelry.

“The new grille, which is flanked by HID headlamps and LED daytime running lamps, advances the design legacy established with the very first Yukon Denali,” said Helen Emsley, executive director, Global GMC Design. “It’s a more exciting and sophisticated design, while remaining instantly recognizable as part of the GMC Denali family.”

INTERIOR APPOINTMENTS
Yukon Denali’s interior continues to offer the modern design, upscale appointments, and advanced connectivity expected of a Denali. Perforated leather-appointed first-and second-row seating, accentuated with French Seam contrast stitching is standard, as are heated and ventilated front seats and heated outboard second-row seats. Throughout Yukon Denali’s interior, you’ll find precision-crafted accents, including both burnished aluminum décor and new Mastique Ash wood trim.

Denali drivers are presented with a four color head-up display, along with a dynamic 8–inch diagonal configurable cluster which allows the driver to see pertinent information as they see fit. Yukon Denali also includes GMC IntelliLink1 with 8-inch diagonal color touch screen and navigation2 as standard equipment, which also includes both Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatibility3. OnStar4, along with an integrated 4G Wi-Fi hot spot5, is also standard for a 3 month trial period.

Yukon Denali models also include a Bose Centerpoint audio system, wireless phone charging6, active noise cancellation, and a hands-free programmable power liftgate as standard equipment.

CAPABILITY, REFINED
Yukon Denali continues to deliver great performance and capability, thanks in no small part to its powertrain. A 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V-8 is standard equipment on Yukon Denali, and offers 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Advanced features, including direct fuel injection variable valve timing, and Active Fuel Management enable the engine to optimize efficiency, yet provide peak performance when needed most.

For 2018, Yukon Denali pairs that 6.2-liter V-8 with a new 10-speed automatic transmission. This new transmission offers a wider gear ratio spread than the previous eight-speed automatic transmission, allowing the 6.2-liter V-8 to remain within the “sweet spot” of the torque curve when upshifting. Additionally, the new transmission provides a lower numerical top gear ratio, which allows Yukon Denali’s engine to run slower while cruising at highway speeds, helping improve efficiency.

The 2018 Yukon Denali and 2018 Yukon XL Denali will be available from GMC dealers nationwide starting fall 2017.
