Maserati is the star of summer 2017: from Ibiza to Porto Cervo, Forte dei Marmi to Courmayeur, the Trident Brand is present at all the season’s most glamorous resorts.

Last weekend in Ibiza, Maserati was the official car of the Ferretti Group Midsummer Dream event, which featured the worldwide presentation of the new Custom Line Navetta 33. Ferretti Group customers were able to admire the GranTurismo and GranCabrio MY18 models, which recently made their debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and test drive the Levante SUV, in an unforgettable Drive&Cruise Experience. The event was attended by many VIPs, including Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason and Spanish top model Nieves Alvarez.

Simultaneously, the presentation of the Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio, in MY18 version, took place at the Phi Beach in Porto Cervo. These iconic Maserati models were the undisputed stars of the exclusive evening event.

Bugatti makes an impressive appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2017

With its appearance at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in the South of England, Bugatti is more than doing justice to its status as the manufacturer of the ultimate super sports car. With eight vehicles from its recent past, the French luxury brand is bringing as many as 9,404 horsepower onto the lawn at Goodwood House near Chichester (West Sussex) this weekend. The cars include six Veyron 16.4, one of which is a pre-series car from 2005, a fantastic Veyron 16.4 Pur Sang from 2007 (both 1001 HP), a 1,200 HP Super Sport from the World Record Edition (2010) and the 1,200 HP Grand Sport Vitesse, which took the world speed record for production roadsters in 2013. However the crowning highlight of the presentation is the new 1,500 HP Chiron1.

Two examples of the world’s most powerful, fastest, most exclusive and most luxurious production super sports car are on show at Goodwood, the first customer vehicle for the United Kingdom and a Chiron which has travelled to Goodwood direct from Bugatti’s headquarters in Molsheim to thrill visitors on the legendary hill climb – piloted by British racing driver and Le Mans winner Andy Wallace. The Goodwood Festival of Speed is being held from 29 June to 2 July 2017.

Nissan is blazing a trail through Goodwood this weekend, bringing its ground-breaking, all-electric BladeGlider prototype and latest generation sports cars – the GT-R NISMO and MY17 GT-R – to the iconic Festival of Speed.

Last driven on the Monaco street circuit, the BladeGlider showcases Nissan’s most cutting-edge zero emission technology and innovative automotive design. Offering a glimpse into the future of sports cars, this eye-catching vehicle will be unleashed on the iconic Goodwood Hillclimb during the first three days of the event, thrilling guests with the sheer power of its 100-percent electric powertrain. On the final day of the show, BladeGlider will be out on the Goodwood circuit offering select media a rare opportunity to take part in some of its first pan-European drives.

In between runs, BladeGlider will be on static display in the Paddock, allowing visitors to get an up close look at this, the future of performance cars, which embodies Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility vision of how cars should be driven, powered and integrated into society.

“As a pioneer of the electric vehicle movement, Nissan wants to get people excited about the future of zero-emission technology, and the Nissan BladeGlider does just that,” said Ponz Pandikuthira, vice president Product Planning, Nissan Europe. “The BladeGlider has been developed to bring fun, torque, efficiency and high-performance styling to the fore. Goodwood has been a world-famous showcase for many an iconic sports car over the years, so we could think of no better place to bring the BladeGlider out to play, demonstrating the Nissan Intelligent Mobility vision in action.”

BladeGlider is not the only sports car that will be bolting from the Nissan stable during the Festival weekend. The ultra-desirable flagship model in the Nissan GT-R line-up, the GT-R NISMO, will be showing off its highly tuned race car credentials on the Supercar Run on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the MY17 GT-R will be taking up the mantle, roaring up the Hill to remind the crowds why it is one of the most-coveted supercars in the world.
